Munich, October 2018: Consultancy Roland Berger has added to the strength of its Operations practice: New Senior Partner Michael Pleuger, a seasoned expert in procurement and supply chain functions, is supporting the team's global activities, having joined the company on October 1.

Michael Pleuger will be advising a mainly international clientele from the telecoms and transportation sectors on procurement issues. A proven expert in all things purchasing and supply chain related, Pleuger's extensive career so far spanned roles in various different consulting firms as well as in industry across Europe and the United States. For instance, his tenure at telecoms giant Vodafone included the role of Global Program Lead in the procurement arena, where he was responsible for driving the company's digital transformation. Pleuger later joined one of the big international accounting firms in 2008, where he rose to the position of Head of Supply Chain Management Advisory Germany and Global Solution Partner for Digital Procurement.
