Global consulting firm Roland Berger opens office in Mexico

MEXICO CITY, May, 2023 – Roland Berger, a global management consultancy, has announced the startof its operations in Mexico, effective May, 2023.

"Roland Berger Mexico will allow us to further strengthen our client base throughout the Americas as well as even better serve our internationally based clients with operations in the region. Mexico also plays a key role in our growth plans in the Americas, as well as globally."

Roland Berger Mexico will be led by Managing Partner Gilberto Lozano Meade. He will be supported in growing the business by Germán Galván Zumaya and Oscar Silva Eguibar, both also new Partners at Roland Berger and based in Mexico City. All three are experienced consulting professionals, who have worked with many of Mexico's as well as the world's largest companies. They bring extensive knowledge of the local and regional market and in the fields of Industrials and Automotive, Consumer and Health, Services, as well as Regulated and Infrastructure.

Gilberto Lozano Meade, Managing Partner

Gilberto Lozano Meade acts as Managing Partner at Roland Berger Mexico and leads the Consumer and Health practice. He has more than 20 years' consulting experience specializing in growth strategy, digital strategy, operating model redesign, organizational alignment, cost reduction, and transformation management. Throughout his career, Lozano has worked with a wide range of institutions in the private and public sectors, in industries including consumer, retail, health, real estate, financial services, infrastructure, and tourism, among others.

Germán Galván Zumaya, Partner

Germán Galván Zumaya is a Partner at Roland Berger Mexico and leads the Regulated practice, which includes the fields of energy, infrastructure, transportation and financial services. With more than 25 years’ experience, Galván focuses on the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects, energy and decarbonization initiatives, and large organizational transformations. He serves clients across the private, public, and social sectors, and has additional expertise in economic development, sustainability, performance improvement, as well as organizational governance and health.

Oscar Silva Eguibar, Partner

Oscar Silva Eguibar is a Partner at Roland Berger Mexico and is responsible for the Industrials practice, with a strong focus on automotive. He has over 20 years' consulting and industry experience, in growth and portfolio strategy, market entry, commercial due diligence, M&A strategy, and business model design. Silva is an expert in market analysis, innovative trends, and growth strategy for OEMs and automotive suppliers. His industry knowledge also includes the mobility, power and utilities, oil and gas, renewables, as well as health and life sciences industries.
